Understanding the patient ‘lived experience’ and any desired health outcomes, in addition to the commercial constraints, and stakeholder requirements are crucial.
I have known Rachel for some years, initially when I was a Governor of the Wellcome Trust. The Silver Linings is another example of Rachel’s interest in being involved in activities which create a tangible beneficial impact. While interest in ESG and responsible investing is growing rapidly, only a few are focussing on achieving impact, and impact is what we need and what will in the end actually make the difference.
